Training

Beginning January 2015 certified officers are required to complete 24 hours of In-Service training each calendar year (Rule 28).  A detailed explanation of Rule 28 along with the exact definition in Colorado Revised Statute can be found in the In-Service Training Continuing Education link, below. Officers may receive in-service/continuing education training credit hours for courses that have been approved by your Chief Executive and submitted to POST by your agency's designated Training Coordinator via the POST portal.
